On 27 June 2026, the SCAN-2030 team was invited to present at the 14th Western China Pharmacoeconomics Academic Conference in Hefei, China. During the Young Investigator Session, Assistant Professor Prof. Shirley Xue Li introduced the SCAN-2030 programme and shared the team’s latest work on advancing Health Technology Assessment (HTA) in Hong Kong. The presentation highlighted SCAN-2030’s vision of supporting evidence informed healthcare decision making through horizon scanning, international HTA system comparisons, and policy relevant research.
The conference provided an excellent platform for academic exchange with researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and industry experts from across China, fostering discussions on strengthening HTA capacity and promoting value based healthcare.-2.jpeg "Image (1)")
